Comparing Health Care Sites

My last post was a result of the pain I felt while searching for a doctor through my insurance companie’s website. I am now looking for a dental provider and my experience is immediately better:


the page is immediately welcoming and asks me a variety of questions in order to quickly direct me to the appropriate portion of the site. All I really want is to find a provider so logically I’ll click “Find Care”

Thank you!!

After that I enter my plan number and then the system starts to break down a little bit. I end up on a search field that looks like this:

this seems quite excessive when really, the most important information you need is my location and what kind of dental professional I am looking for.

But at least I got here in 3 clicks!
